This is a submission to a contest to produce an original short film/music video. I shot video on a Sony FS-7 using an Anamorphot anamorphic lens adapter on my Leica R-50/2 Summicron lens from the late 70’s. On ZURE, I merged video with animated analog still film images shot on an RSS 141 Panoramic Pinhole camera and a Rolleiflex 2.8c. Ryuichi Sakamoto was inspired by the films of Andrei Tarkovsky to record the music for async and this inspiration was the perfect combination to me of two of my favorite artists; in film and music. All video/stills shot on locations in Nashville, TN and features Jessica Bleu.
