This one was shot with our regular Gibson video team; myself producing & shooting, Nate Shuppert shooting & editing and Grant Johnson on audio. 2 cameras; Panasonic HVX-200, and location audio at our “studio” space the former Baldwin Showroom in Nashville. The studio consisted of a giant warehouse facility that housed a cyc-wall area with light grid, and 3 edit rooms plus central media machine room, which I designed when I built and started the Video Department at Gibson. Many times though we used some of the natural light space that had a bit of industrial loft vibe to it and that’s what we did here.

Clint Walsh was in town on tour with Gnarls Barkley at the height of “Crazy”, and was gracious enough to carve out some time prior to soundcheck. He is an extremely versatile guitar player and if anything, underplays in Gnarls Barkley. He puts a 335 through it’s paces and has some great things to say about playing in a large ensemble. A very humble and nice guy, (most of the great players are) who truly appreciated doing this video for us.
